Birmingham, Alabama, October 24, 2008 - The National Futures Association completed the registration today of Birmingham Futures Incorporated (NFA ID: 0404229 - FCStone Broker ID: BL044) as an Introducing Broker guaranteed by FCStone LLC.

Jonathan C. Putman, Chairman & CEO of Birmingham Futures, was also registered as Principal and AP (NFA ID: 0402843).

Birmingham, Alabama, October 19, 2007 – Birmingham Futures Exchange Incorporated (BFEX) announced today that it has signed a letter of intent with FCStone Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSX), a commodity risk management firm, to create a steel price hedging platform based on steel vouchers, a concept developed by BFEX.
